One Man's Opinion by Jim Roane, PhD One Man's Opinion by Jim Roane, PhD

New Page 20

Our missions focus this week is on Assam, the Indian state just above Bangladesh. This is a vitally strategic part of the make up of Southern Asia as it relates to the advance of Islam.

Why?

Because, radical Islam is forging a beachhead on Indian soil through illegal and highly radicalized Muslim fanatics along the borders of both
Pakistan and Bangladesh. And, of course, North East India is like an island fortress in a sea of religious and political turmoil—China to the North, Myanmar to the East, and bordered by Bangladesh on its’ sides and underbelly.

This is just another example of the inroads that Islam and fanatical jihadists are making in all parts of the globe.

Another glaring example of this progress, I feel, was brought to my attention by an article by Robert Spencer, the director of Jihad Watch, who reported that New York's famous Empire State Building is lit up in green today in honor of the Muslim holiday of Eid, the biggest festival in the Muslim calendar marking the end of Ramadan. He states further, that City officials say the lighting, which will continue through Sunday, "will become an annual event in the same tradition of the yearly lightings for Christmas and Hanukah."

Many consider this to be an insult to the memory of the over 3,000 innocent people killed on 9/11 in New York City’s Twin Towers by a handful of radically motivated young men inspired by Islamic teachings. Some, however, don’t necessarily see it as that; however, I am concerned that many of the so-called moderate Muslims have not spoken out more forcefully against jihadism and this recognition will soften our resolve to take the radical teachings of Islam seriously.

Friend, it may just be my opinion but it concerns me that we are so blind and naïve to the real message of Muslim jihadists—that is, that Jesus is not the Christ, and if you don’t agree, then you are an infidel worthy of death since you oppose the teachings of Islam.

So, once again, I wish to encourage you, dear reader, if you have not done so already, please make a serious attempt to keep informed of the true nature and intent of radical Islam. Also, may I encourage you to visit my website, and see what the Bible has to say about Muhammad and Islam as it pertains to these final days of history, as we know it.

Once again, thanks for taking time to read this, and it is my hope that you will continue to pray for our ministry, in particular Project10Million.
